Instructions
- Go to an AI platform of your choice, such as chatgpt.com. If you don’t have an account, or don’t wish to create an account, you may use the AI-generated map linked below.
- Enter a prompt on a topic of your choosing to generate a thematic map, in print format.
- Example: The map below (Figure 7.10.1) was generated with the prompt, “Make a print map showing the population density of Pennsylvania at the county level.”
- Write a critique (300+ words) of the generated map. Include:
- The AI-generated map image with a citation (hint: see Figure 7.10.1 caption)
- Your ChatGPT prompt, and any additional input that was needed
- Three things about the map that you think works well, and why.
- Three suggestions for improvement of the map, and why these improvements matter.
- Return to the Lesson 7 Module in Canvas to submit your critique to the Critique #4 assignment as a PDF file in the format: LastName_Critique4.
