Critique #4

For Critique #4, you will put your Artificial Intelligence literacy skills to the test by critiquing a map generated by ChatGPT or another AI tool.

You may find this article helpful as you reflect on your AI-generated map and its merits and pitfalls:

Instructions

1. Go to an AI platform of your choice, such as chatgpt.com. If you don’t have an account, or don’t wish to create an account, you may use the AI-generated map linked below.
2. Enter a prompt on a topic of your choosing to generate a thematic map, in print format.
   1. Example: The map below (Figure 7.10.1) was generated with the prompt, “Make a print map showing the population density of Pennsylvania at the county level.”
3. Write a critique (300+ words) of the generated map. Include:
   1. The AI-generated map image with a citation (hint: see Figure 7.10.1 caption)
   2. Your ChatGPT prompt, and any additional input that was needed
   3. Three things about the map that you think works well, and why.
   4. Three suggestions for improvement of the map, and why these improvements matter.
4. Return to the Lesson 7 Module in Canvas to submit your critique to the Critique #4 assignment as a PDF file in the format: LastName_Critique4.
