Lab Assignment: AI ChatBot on the Future of Food Supply

Overview

In this lab, you will use an AI ChatBot to explore the Future of food supply under different climate scenarios

Instructions

• The Bot will be available once you open the Module 9 Graded Lab in Canvas.
• Open the Bot in your browser.
• Keep two windows open: one for the Bot and one for Canvas (you will need to open a third window for Q30-36).
• Copy and paste each question one at a time from Canvas into the Bot, in order. You can also type in the question number.
• We do not recommend taking this lab on a iPad or a phone, the type in the figure may be too small to see.

Important Notes

• The Bot may behave unpredictably if you jump between questions. Stick to the sequence.
• Questions include fill-in-the-blank and multiple choice formats.
• Follow instructions carefully — there will be no regrading for incorrectly formatted answers.
• All words must be spelled correctly!
• All numbers must be entered in the correct format! Canvas changes 9.0 to 9 so don't worry about that.
• The Bot will:
  • Ask which question you're working on.
  • Guide you through the logic to find the correct answer.
  • Provide the final answer for you to enter into Canvas.
• If you follow the Bot’s instructions closely, you should receive maximum credit!
• If you are interested in more information you can ask the Bot for it after it gives you the answer.

Individual Work Required

• Each student receives a unique version of the quiz.
• You must complete the lab independently.

Troubleshooting

• If the Bot glitches or says “interrupted”:
  • You can repeat the question or reopen the Bot.
• The only time limit is the one set in Canvas. Do not close the Canvas window under any circumstances.

No Practice Lab

• There is no practice version of this lab.
• The Bot is designed to guide you through the logic needed to answer each question.
• It is essential that you follow instructions exactly.
